Wanna lock in while sipping a latte?
Whether you’re in school, juggling remote job tasks or simply need to focus on your job hunt, I’ve got some recs for the Scarberians out there. Here are a couple of options if you need a place that’s a bit more aesthetic than your tired at-home setup.
Phin Café Bar
If you’re looking for Vietnamese coffee in a sleek, aesthetic package, then Phin Café Bar fits the bill. Stop by Skycity Shopping Centre to check out the coffee shops and all their perks, from closing daily at 11 p.m. to fun events like free bingo nights and curated gossip sessions.
Chaffe Coffee Corner
Hidden inside a Lazeez Shawarma, Chaffe Coffee Corner is a small but mighty coffee spot perfect for the night owls. According to Google Maps, it’s open until 1 or 2 a.m. depending on the day. The Green Line called to confirm the business’s hours but received no response, so note that it may close at 11 p.m., according to their Instagram.
The Creek Café
Last but not least, The Creek Café, which came on our radar in our IG comments. Sitting on the borders of Highland Creek and Port Union, this café is perfect for the UTSC students tired of cramming in the library. It’s perfect for fans of moody interior design, bookworms and nitro cold brew addicts. They also have some cool Halloween-time programming planned for the end of the month, so check it out if you need a chill, spooky event without worrying about a long commute.
