The Green Line (“we”, “us”, “our”) is committed to protecting your privacy. This page explains what data we collect, why and how you can control it. We comply with the European Union’s General Data Protection Regulation (GDPR) and Canada’s Personal Information Protection and Electronic Documents Act (PIPEDA).

Data we collect

• Account data: name, email, password hash when you register or log in via Google.
• Membership and payment data: managed by Stripe; we receive only the subscription status, not card numbers.
• Reading activity: page views and saved articles, used for the soft paywall meter and your reading history; only collected with your consent.
• Reading progress on Action Journeys: stored locally if you have given personalization consent, or in your account if you are signed in.

Cookies and consent

We do not set non-essential cookies until you have made a choice in our consent banner. You can change your choice at any time using the “Cookie preferences” button in the bottom-left corner of any page.

Your rights (GDPR Article 15 & 17)

You can request a full export of your data, or ask us to delete your account, from your account dashboard. Contact hello@thegreenline.to with any questions.

Third parties

We use Stripe for payments, Google for sign-in and standard WordPress infrastructure. We do not sell personal data.

Updates

We may update this policy. Material changes will be communicated by email to registered members.
