Then, DJs Mystic Seed and Gizada’s upcoming dancehall night on May 29 at Houndstooth is the perfect way to spend your Friday night. Plus, there’s no cover, so you can dance the night away, free of charge from 9 p.m. till 2 a.m.

ARTSY PARK HANG

Artsy park hang: Need a low-stakes reason to bask in the Allan Gardens and doodle? Then join artist Sun Ravichandran’s Art in the Park hang on May 30 from 12 to 2 p.m. And if you need a regular low-stakes event for the summer, rest assured, because this hangout is hosted on the last Saturday of the month.

Retrochic art market: Artists Divine Trash and Exclusive Pain join forces for a pop-up market this Sunday, May 31. From 10 a.m. to 3 p.m., head over to Bootsy’s to shop deadstock fabric, handmade totes and more. If you’re a fan of kitschy, colourful, campy art, then Pedestrian Pop-Up is the market for you.
