Need to go downtown? You’re in luck, because The Green Line has a new washroom spot at Yonge and Dundas!
There’s nothing worse than needing to use the washroom while you’re out, and you’re suddenly regretting chugging down that iced capp from earlier. You need to pee, but don’t want to spend $8 on a viral banana bread matcha latte at a café only to use their bathroom, and you most certainly can’t wait till you’re home.
That’s why The Green Line started mapping out accessible washrooms across the city, for people like you!
If you’ve ever used the CF Toronto Eaton Centre’s washrooms, you’ve probably seen the long lines and know they’re not always the cleanest. But across the street, you’ll find 10 Dundas St E., otherwise known as The Tenor.
The Tenor is home to one of the TMU Station entrances, Cineplex, a bowling alley, restaurants, shops and a food court. There are so many things in one place, no one will know you’re entering only to use the washroom.
To access the free washrooms, you’ll need to take the escalators or elevator to the third floor, where the food court is.
It’s at the back beside the Harvey’s, so walk by all the food stalls, and you’ll see the washroom signs!
There are plenty of stalls, and it’s usually cleaner than most washrooms downtown since it’s tucked away on the third level.
So, next time you’re downtown near Sankofa Square ( R.I.P. Dundas Square) and need to go, you won’t have to worry about where to run to!
