Weston Frontlines Centre is a Black-led youth charity that offers educational programming, camps and more in Toronto’s west end.
The centre has been operating for over 40 years, starting with drop-in-style programming and “opened its doors to children and youth in Weston, offering them a safe place to hang out away from the streets.”
The Green Line previously highlighted Frontlines’ community efforts in 2023. The centre offers cooking courses for 18-to 29-year-old community members. It’s just one of the many programming opportunities presented by the youth charity to the neighbourhood.

The charity is looking for corporate volunteers to join Frontlines’ staff in serving the community. Volunteers will be helping out with their community grocery program, which provides food to families every Thursday.
“When your team joins us, you’re helping young people feel seen, supported, and valued,” Frontlines writes on its website.
In 2023, Frontlines supported 10,128 people who came by to pick up a warm meal and grocery bags. You and your team could be helping those visitors.
