The Church of the Holy Trinity’s Trinity CommUNITY Hub is looking for coffee and tea donations for its free lunches.
According to its website “the Hub provides food, clothing, and harm reduction supplies to 100+ people each service day.” The church itself has been in downtown Toronto since 1847.
The Hub also works with other community organizations to connect their visitors to legal support, healthcare services and more. They also host events throughout the week like chess club, art therapy and a monthly memorial for the houseless.
What is Trinity CommUNITY Hub asking for?
One of their main requests is coffee! Whether it’s ground or unground, they are interested in all your coffee donations — as well as tea. The drinks will be used during their free lunches on Tuesdays and Wednesdays and other community events.
The Hub is also looking for office supplies:
- pens,
- pencils,
- binders,
- markers,
- page protectors,
- books
- and notebooks.
Everyone should be able to experience a nice, warm coffee on a cozy, fall day without worrying about how they’ll pay for it. So, help someone enjoy the autumn breeze with a cup of hot tea in their hand by donating hot beverages this season.
They’re also always looking for other donation items like clothing, first aid, outdoor gear and more. You can check their long list of suggested items you can donate anytime.
If you’re interested in donating, you can drop off your items to the church on Mondays, Tuesdays and Wednesdays between 10 a.m. and 4 p.m. at the church’s eastern door. Alternatively, you can also mail donations to: Community Hub, 19 Trinity Sq., Toronto, ON, M5G 1B1.
To coordinate a drop-off, call or text 647-765-2564, or send an email to donations@holytrinity.to.
