Got an old bike you no longer need? Drop it off at a BikeMatchWCN location to give it a new home.

BikeMatchWCN is a program run by Toronto’s Women Cycling Network to redistribute used bikes to cyclists across the city.

The program aims to reduce the number of bikes going to landfill through repairing and reusing, while creating equitable bike distribution and a culture of cycling in the city. It was first created in 2020 to help women feel empowered on bicycles, but has since expanded to include children and anybody who wants to cycle in Toronto.

Drop-off locations

If you have a used bike to donate, you can drop it off — even if it needs some repair — at one of five locations across the city. Make sure to call and arrange your visit first.

You can also sign up for workshops to learn how to cycle and participate in social cycling events.

If you have a bicycle that you’d like to swap, or repair and keep, you can also reach out to the organizations above to be connected with resources near you.
