Got too many mugs and not enough cabinet space? Here’s your chance to declutter!
The Stop is looking for medium-sized mugs in good condition for its members to use when visiting its community spaces.
“Every mug helps us create a welcoming space for community members to enjoy a warm drink,” The Stop writes on its Instagram.
The Stop is a community hub that’s been active for over 40 years. It has three locations focused on combining community building and food access.
In 2025, The Stop welcomed 1,422 new community members and supported over 5,000 people through its food bank. By donating mugs, you’re helping Torontonians enjoy their experience at The Stop and, in turn, help build community in the city.
What you need to know
- Drop off your mugs at The Stop Community Food Centre (1884 Davenport Rd.)
- Drop-off hours are 9 a.m. to 3 p.m. on Tuesdays and Thursdays.
The Stop is constantly looking to upgrade its services and help Torontonians. If you’re looking to support the fight against food insecurity in the city, check out The Green Line’s callout where to donate food in Weston Pelham-Park.
If you’re looking to share a community that’s helping your fellow Torontonians or a mutual aid initiative with us, send an email to julia@thegreenline.to or send us a DM on social media.
