BTS ARMY are excited for the K-pop group to return to the city and perform for the first time since 2015.

BTS is performing in Toronto for the first time since 2015, so here’s what you can do to celebrate, whether you have concert tickets or not.

Calling all BTS ARMY, this one’s for you!

Toronto ARMY has been waiting over a decade for BTS to return to Canada, and the time has finally come! Fan group organizers, cultural institutions, cafes and businesses are getting involved in the hype leading up to and after the concerts on Aug. 22 and 23.

While I can’t list everything, here is a small peek into what you can experience during BTS weekend in Toronto.

ROM QUEST: BTS

I love it when iconic Toronto venues get into the spirit of concerts and fandom.

The Royal Ontario Museum (ROM) is hosting a special BTS-themed scavenger hunt. It’ll be hosted during various timed slots on the weekends of  Aug. 22 and 23 if you’re waiting for stuff to do before the concert and on Aug. 29 and 30 if you need a post-concert pick-me-up.

“Put your BTS knowledge to the test with fun trivia and interactive challenges that will lead you throughout the Museum. Along the way, discover where art, history, fashion, and music collide with BTS vibes,” ROM describes the quest.

FLOATING BORA BAR AND PARTY BUS

Purple Bash is hosting two parties for ARMY on Friday, Aug. 21, the night before the first concert. These limited events are a great way to warm up before the concerts, meet more ARMY and have some Toronto fun!

The floating Bora Bar is from 7:00 p.m. to 8:30 p.m., and the party bus is from 9:00 p.m. to 11:30 p.m., with both events being 19+. Tickets can be found on Purple Bash’s Eventbrite.

PURPLE PICNIC TORONTO

If you’re more of a laid-back, crafty ARMY member, here is an activity for you!

Dear Peachies, an indoor picnic-style cafe is hosting workshops specifically for ARMY during the concert weekend on the 21, 22 and 23 of August and on Friday, Sept. 4. It’s $55 per person, and you get to choose if you want to paint a BTS-inspired vinyl, make a charm bracelet or a moru doll (a cute, fluffy doll charm).

RECOVER WITH ARMY

Post-concert depression is real, and as someone who has been waiting for BTS to return to Canada for years (I had MOTS 7 tickets, rip), I know it’ll hit hard leaving Rogers Stadium.

That’s why events like Recover with Us on Monday, Aug. 24 at Kung Fu Tea (584 Yonge St.) are so important in any fandom.

So, come be surrounded by fellow ARMY, listen to music and feel comforted knowing they are all probably as sad as you are.

Toronto ARMY can’t wait to welcome back BTS! Happy BTS weekend y’all.
