Wondering how Toronto’s next mayor would spend the city’s money — and whether their priorities match yours? 🙋🏽‍♀️

We want to help you cut through the campaign noise and make an informed choice at the ballot box 🗳️

So, The Green Line is inviting local residents to attend an interactive, community-centred evening. We’ll kick things off with a budget game where you’ll use Monopoly-style money to decide which city priorities should receive the most funding.

Then, we’ll bring Toronto’s leading mayoral candidates together for a moderated mayoral debate featuring questions crowdsourced from our audience, so the conversation focuses on what Torontonians actually want to know.

We’ll close out the evening with facilitated Story Circles, where residents and candidates can speak directly about how decisions at City Hall affect their daily lives, neighbourhoods and communities.

Finally, our event will include a Modern Photo Booth from Snaptique, giving attendees an interactive way to document and share their participation. Photo booths have become a reliable fixture at civic gatherings across the city, offering guests a tangible takeaway and a moment to step back from the action. The Green Line’s election coverage is practical, accessible and non-partisan. Our goal is to help Torontonians understand what municipal government controls, compare mayoral candidates’ priorities and participate confidently in the democratic process.
