What do you do if you get hit by a car?

First, of course, check if you have any injuries that need to be treated immediately, and seek medical attention.

Now, if you're looking for the steps to take legal action, there are a few things to keep in mind.

We asked David Shellnutt, a.k.a the Biking Lawyer, for his expert advice.

By now, you've probably heard about a clause in Bill 212 that essentially says that you can't sue the provincial government if you're injured on a road where bike lanes have been removed.
